Glycolic Acid
Glycolic acid is a carboxylic acid and is structurally the smallest amongst alpha-hydroxydiacids. It has no color or odor and is highly soluble in water. Glycolic acid is extracted from Sugar Cane - Pineapple - Beet - Sour grapes.
Thanks to its excellent ability to penetrate the layers of the skin, glycolic acid is an excellent exfoliating agent; its use leads to brightness of the skin, reduced wrinkles, acne and hyperpigmentation.
Bio Active Complex
Innovative synergy of activated amino acids, which contain the basic function of the amines and the acid function of the carboxyl in their molecule. They can be considered as fatty acids in which a hydrogen atom is replaced by the amine group.
They play a dual role in promoting skin regeneration and repair, as well as facilitating the restoration of barrier functions.
Cyclodextrins
Cyclodextrins are sugars that occur in a cyclic form. They have a supramolecular cage-like structure, they are biotechnological products obtained from raw materials of vegetable origin and have filmogenic and moisturizing properties and a lifting action. Their presence in the formula ensures an increase in the bioavailability of all the active ingredients contained in the product and a prolonged activity over time.
Anti-Pollution Complex
The effects of pollution and smog on the skin can cause changes in the skin barrier and lead to premature aging, hypersensitivity and dehydration. The anti-pollution complex, enriched with Moringa Oleifera, has a depolluting action with double effectiveness in purifying and detoxifying the skin.
The anti-pollution complex acts as a valuable purifying and protective agent, stimulating the aggregation of pollutant particles on the skin surface and facilitating their detachment. This causes the epidermis to be detoxified, with a visible neutralization of pollution damage, and the skin regains quality and radiance.
Hexapeptides
A set of amino acids effective to reduce skin imperfections, they have anti-aging properties similar to botox, without having the same contraindications and help make the skin more toned and elastic.
They have an immediate tensor and firming effect, acting in depth and allowing a prolonged action over time.
UVA and UVB Filters
Ultraviolet radiation can differ in its wavelength: UVA rays represent 95% of the ultraviolet radiation that reaches the earth's surface. UVA rays penetrate deep into the dermis causing photoaging, solar intolerances, pigmentary disorders up to skin tumors, and its action is constant every time we are exposed to sunlight, throughout the year. UVB rays make up 5% of the ultraviolet radiation that reaches the earth, and can cause irritation and erythema.
UVA and UVB sunscreens used in cosmetics reflect sun rays and ensure an excellent level of protective efficacy; it is however important to be protected using appropriate sun creams.
Provitamin B5
Provitamins are semi-essential nutritional molecules. They become vitamins as a result of enzymatic reactions in the body. Panthenol, known as provitamin B5, is defined as the "beauty vitamin" thanks to its precious and intense moisturizing and anti-aging action. It helps maintain the natural hydration of the skin, stimulating firmness and elasticity. Used to treat irritation and reddened skin, it soothes and calms itching and inflammation.
Vitamin A
With effective anti-aging propertes, it prevents and delays the processes of skin aging thanks to retinol, which acts by stimulating the process of cell renewal and protects the skin by increasing the defenses against external agents such as sun, wind, cold. It helps reduce small wrinkles and increases the skin elasticity effectively preventing the proliferation of free radicals, promotes the circulation of oxygen and nutrients.
B-Group Vitamins
Group of water-soluble vitamins, essential for the perfect functioning of the organism. They take part in cellular metabolism, play a fundamental role for the proper functioning of the nervous system, the immune system, for muscle tone in the gastrointestinal area and are essential for the perfect functioning and maintenance of skin and hair. They have a protective and decongestant effect.
Vitamin C
Also known as ascorbic acid, it is a powerful antioxidant; it reactivates the production of collagen counteracting the first signs of aging, provides immediate brightness to the skin, is super moisturizing, and maintains the elasticity of the epidermis. It protects against aging and the harmful action of sunlight. Its deficiency determines alterations to the structure of the dermis.
Vitamin D
Fat-soluble vitamin, important for the biological functions of our body, it is produced by the skin that synthesizes it from the precursor 7-dehydrocholesterol through the action of sunlight. Vitamin D is essential for the proper mineralization of bones and teeth, for proper functioning of the immune system and intestinal absorption of minerals. At epidermal level it determines the good quality of the hydrolipidic film and promotes the maturation of surface cells, giving the skin a healthy, bright and young look.
Vitamin E
Vitamin E maintains the structural integrity of the membranes by protecting against free radicals, which are responsible for skin aging and damage induced by pollution, toxins, smoking and UV rays. It acts both as an antioxidant and as an activator of biochemical processes of the skin. It activates the microcirculation of the dermis, increasing epidermal oxygenation and metabolism. It has soothing, moisturizing and anti-inflammatory properties, making the skin appear soft, smooth and hydrated.
Vitamin F
Fat-soluble vitamin also known as Omega 3, it is composed of the set of three unsaturated fatty acids: linoleic acid, linolenic acid and archidonic acid. Vitamin F is essential in the formation of the cellular membrane, and it preserves the elasticity of arterial walls. It favors the integrity of the skin, it nourishes it making it soft and elastic, it increases the cellular turnover, it has anti-aging, moisturizing and protective effects. It is also excellent for hair care.
Vitamin K
A fat-soluble vitamin, it ensures the proper function of certain proteins that form and maintain the strength of bones. Vitamin K is also involved in blood coagulation, it fortifies the walls of blood vessels ensuring microcirculation in the eye area, reducing dark circles.
